She is a favorite in the Drax’ house since the early days of the little Drax, who was introduced to literature via Preus material.

Margi’s latest is “Village of Scoundrels” which tells the story of Nazi occupied France and a remote village where resistance is growing and brave teenagers (and some brave adults & clergymen too) are protecting Jewish refugees from other parts of Europe all the while scrutiny from local Nazi collaborators is increasing.

A timely tell which reminds us: when authoritarianism comes knocking, doing nothing means complicity ….
