Caroline Hardaker is coming to the Book Club today. Blurbs for “Composite Creatures” promise it to be a novel where Ray Bradbury meets Sally Rooney!!!

That sounds insanely yummy. At least to the folks who like dystopian takes on the neoliberal present without feeling disempowered to change the future.

Caroline is also a poet and occassional librettist and we shall talk about that too, however the strange creatures will be our main focus hence the in-world location being - trigger warning! - a dark dark attic with hidden dangers, somewhere on the archipelago.
