Annaliese Avery has delivered a super fun debut with "The Nightsilver Promise" which has floating cities, tons of dragons, a battle of science vs intelligent/dragon design and two teenage protagonists, the young boy named 'Dax' ... no "r" in there ... sigh.

Maybe next time? Anyhow: books for young adults can walk and chew gum at the same time = fun, fantasy and imagined worlds as well as death in the family, disability, an oppressively regimented fundamentalist governing structure, with 14 year old badass girls running the show!
