Today we shall talk literary horror, quite literally, with Lucie Mcknight Hardy at 12pm SLT. Her debut novel “Water shall refuse them” is set in the 70s and oh boy would it be awesome to see Brian de Palma direct the movie version … anyhow, disclaimer in regards to scary shorts: if dysfunctional families, strange cults, dead babies, mermaids, little old ladies that may be lizards and the so called “resting bitch face” scare you to death, you may sit this one out. If on the other hand you delight in excellent prose and engaging with horror novels/stories as a cathartic exercise? Thou shall be pleased, in the name of the father, the cult and the creed ....
