We are celebrating 2 years of Second Life Book Club today at 12pm SLT.

We started humbly back on April 8th 2020 with S.L. Huang, CB Lee, Ken Liu and Matt Ruff, not very well known or accomplished authors, and we went from there.

Sorry, bad joke … as I am writing this I am quite giddy actually because from the VERY BEGINNING we were blessed with amazing writers and thinkers and practitioners of the written word craft of a quality and variety that I kind of still can not believe it. I mean Jonatham Lethem as yellow duck talking about him hanging with Patti Smith? Ellen Datlow as black furry cat in a poika dot dress, casually mentioning that William Gibson loves her? Anyways I digress.

Join us as we tour the 3 islands of worlds and reminisce about the past, plot the future and celebrate reading reading reading … ahhh maybe someday I get Werner Herzog on the show with an avatar that is just the floating word “read” …..
